The Flowers

One of the most important pieces of bridal attire is the bouquet. There are many things to consider and endless possibilities to pick from. Flowers can vary a great deal in cost. In season flowers of course will be much cheaper.

You will want to decide on the colour or colours. Traditional bouquets are white but this is your wedding and who says you have to follow tradition? If you are considering using many colours you might use roses, tulips, peonies, freesia or gerbera. For white you might consider using gardenias, white roses, lilies of the valley or orchids.

Other things you will want to consider is the season of the wedding, does it match and fit into the style of your wedding, does it go with your decorations and attire of the wedding party?

You will want to decide the size and shape of your bouquet. You will want the details of your beautiful wedding gown to show, so the bouquet should be carried low. If you are petite you will want to consider a smaller arrangement. Some styles to consider are a hand tied garden bouquet, cascade or cluster or even a single stem flower.

For further flower decorations, you may want to consider decorating your ceremony area with fresh flower pedastels, alter arrangements or even a beautifully decorated arch.

For your reception tables, we can arrange floral centrepieces to match your colour scheme, with or without candles. Lanterns, balloons, tulle netting .... whatever you fancy, we can decorate your wedding to any style or theme you desire.
