Gary and Keisha

Gary and Keisha have known each other for 16 years .. they were dating for 3 1/2 years when Gary popped the question.... Gary is of greek descent, so he really wanted to get married on greek soil.  Keisha was drawn towards the Ionian islands, and after doing a search of different islands and planners, chose My Greek Wedding planners to help them with their long distance planning from Australia.

Along with a couple of Skype phone calls and many e-mails, all the arrangements and decisions were put in place by the time they made the long trip from their homeland of Australia.  They chose Villa Sakos, a lovely 3-villa complex in Skala, as the base for their stay, and also as the venue for their wedding reception.

A little angel was definitely watching down on Keisha on her wedding day... the weather was glorious, the beaches empty of on-lookers and she was SO excited and honoured that so many of her closest family members and friends had made the long trip from Australia as well as Thailand, Austria and Germany.

It was a hive of activity at Villa Sakos that morning, with hair and makeup artists, caterers, florists and of course, wedding planners, checking all the last-minute details before the ceremony.

Purple and green were the dominant colours for the ceremony, from the dresses of the bridesmaids and the mother of the bride, to Keishas bouquet and all the beautiful fresh floral arrangements which matched perfectly.  A mandolin and guitar player walked with Keisha to the ceremony area and definitely added a 'greek' and very emotional touch to the occasion.

Some alone time after the ceremony  ... guests were shuttled back to Villa Sakos, while Gary and Keisha soaked in the moment alone and posed for some great photos on the beach.

When Gary and Keisha got back to their villa, the caterers had transformed the pool area into a fabulous dining area for their guests .... white covered tables and chairs, a full buffet station and of course, a bar.  The floral arch and centrepieces from the beach ceremony was brought back to the villa and carefully placed behind the newlywed's chairs and on the guests' tables.

After the manditory cutting of the first slice of cake, and toasting with champagne, everyone was ready to enjoy a long, relaxing, fun-filled evening of celebration - Australian style !!

A couple of days later, Gary and Keisha went on a fabulous extended honeymoon to Zakynthos, Crete and Santorini.  Yamas !!

"..... you couldn't ask for better people to organise a wedding. From when we first arrived until we left, Teresa and Kostas were so welcoming, friendly and caring about everything.
The food and service were excellent and we can highly recommend these wedding planners to anyone wanting their 'big day' to be perfect."
