Sabrina and Anthony

When two people work in the 'acting and stage' profession, you know their wedding is going to be that little bit extra colourful !! And so it was for Sabrina and Anthony who tied the knot in the peaceful surroundings of the Botanical Gardens, on the outskirts of Argostoli....

They got engaged at Niagara Falls in Canada, and having visited Kefalonia 3 times before, knew this was the perfect place for their dream wedding.

They had been together for 6 years when they visited Kefalonia one year before the wedding, and fell in love with the idea of an afternoon wedding in the shade of the mature trees, by the side of a lovely lake, under a wooden pergola, in total privacy, at one with nature.

With 30 close friends and family witnessing this beautiful and unique occasion, their wedding ceremony was both full of love and laughter, which suited their bubbly personalities perfectly.... Immediately afterwards, they offered a nice chilled glass of prosecco to their guests, while listening to some of their favourite music played on a portable speaker.

Sabrina looked angelic in her beautiful Pronovia wedding dress (called Lali)... and her hair and makeup were meticulously done by Amanda and Mika....

Her bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were lovingly handmade by one of her bridesmaids, and perfectly matched with fresh flowers to complete the decoration of the ceremony area by Bosonis Art & Flowers (Argostoli).

Renowned photographer, Vasilis Loukatos was on hand to capture some amazing moments and presented the couple with a beautiful wedding album as a gift and memory of this special day.

Lunch was then on offer at the fabulous Sirtaki Restaurant in Lassi, where the owner Panagis, took extra special care to prepare a welcoming reception area for the newlyweds, with excellent service and attention to detail ... and the food was delicious too !!

Sabrina and Anthony decided against the traditional wedding cake, and opted for a selection of delicious cupcakes, made by Kappatos Bros. (Argostoli).

And the celebrations continued.....

Last call for the day, was a sunset cruise aboard the very popular Lady O' Cruise Ship, which left from Argostoli and cruised around the south west coast of Kefalonia, where MORE prosecco was served as the sun set on this beautiful wedding celebration.  Last, but not least, was a brilliant fireworks display, set off from a secluded beach, to ensure a perfect viewing area for the whole wedding party...

A packed, fun-filled day for Sabrina and Anthony, who totally enjoyed their wedding day experience in Kefalonia, and are counting down the days to their return....

We got married at the end of June and it was the most perfect day, just magical. So much of the arranging was taken care of by Teresa, who was such a big help and put our minds to rest. The experience was pretty stress free, considering it was our wedding! We had our ceremony in the Botanical Gardens in Argostoli, there's a little area with a pond and beautiful lavender bushes growing. The flowers were beautiful and just added the finishing touches to the ceremony. Teresa understood what we wanted and made it happen with the help of the florist. Our wedding meal was at our favourite restaurant Sirtaki, they're the best restaurant in the Lassi/Argostoli area. Teresa started talking with the owner with regard to our wedding meal, and it was just perfect, everyone was impressed with the quality and the quantity of food! To end the magical day we hired a boat for the evening, a Sunset cruise, which was just a brilliant atmosphere! Teresa was on hand throughout the day making sure everything went as planned and was such a great support throughout the whole process! We can not thank Teresa and her team enough, we recommend them for anyone thinking of marrying in Kefalonia. Such a brilliant idea and not as scary as you might think. THANK YOU!
